With the increase of current density and temperature, the electrolytic polishing time should be shortened. In order to obtain a surface with high finish, it is usually used to repeat polishing methods, and each polishing time should not be too long. Electropolishing aluminum and its alloys earlier in the preparation of phosphate sulfuric acid solution, high purity and polishing effect is better.
In order to prolong the use of electrolytes and to prolong phosphoric acid in the electrolytic polishing of carbon steel, the initial throwing of phosphoric acid-sulfuric acid-chromic anhydride in the solution is carried out first, and then the phosphoric acid-chromic anhydride electrolyte is used. If the larger current is destroyed, it can be carried out in a similar solution to electrolytically polish the surface finish to nickel, copper, etc.
